Organized by Dean Jinhai ZHENG, 2013 Cross-Strait Camp on Coastal Development and Protection was held on July 27th, 2013 in Hohai University. Hongwu TANG, Vice-president of Hohai University, Yixin YAN, Vice-chairman of Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee, Standing Committee of the NPC and Yue LIN, Director of Office of Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, Department of Education, Jiangsu Province made opening addresses at the opening ceremony. 24 teachers and 51 Ph.D. and Master students from Taiwan Ocean University, Cheng Kung University, Kaohsiung Marine University, Chung Hsing University, Chiayi University, Central Police University and Hohai University participated in the camp.
