The Education Department of Jiangsu Province recently announced the acceptance list of Provincial Excellent Courses for Foreign Students Teaching in English in Jiangsu Universities. Based on experts’ review, 300 courses in the province passed the acceptance test, including 20 courses in our school, and 3 in our college. They are Estuarine and Coastal Dynamics by professor Chen Yongping, Coastal Engineering by professor Zhang Jisheng and Advanced Coastal Dynamics by professor Zhou Zeng.

The above 3 courses were funded by the provincial excellent courses of English teaching for foreign students in Jiangsu universities in 2015, 2016 and 2018, respectively. After careful polishing by the curriculum team, the existing curriculum system has been updated according to the characteristics of international students, the international top-level teaching intelligence resources have been introduced, the English teaching mode and the course internationalization direction have been established, and the online courses have been carefully recorded and the distance online teaching has been realized. The teaching effect of the courses is excellent, which has won unanimous praise from overseas master students and successfully passed the acceptance organized by the Provincial Department of Education.
