The 1st Meeting of Academic Committee of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Coast Ocean Resources Development and Environment Security was held on November 6th in Nanjing. Professor Gong Zheng, Dean of the laboratory gave a report on the development of the laboratory. The committee members discussed the application forms of the open research foundation.

       The laboratory focuses on basic and applied researches of protection and development of tidal flat, coastal ocean environment and marine disasters, estuarine and coastal erosion and deposition processes, integrated management of coastal ocean resources.
