Academician Kai Yan was member of the Harbour Construction Committee of Tianjinxin Harbour, and made great contributions to the construction and development of the Tianjin Harbour.

      Following the foot print of Academician Kai Yan, one of the Summer Holiday Social Practice groups went to the Tianjin Harbour. They visited the bulk cargo terminal, container terminal, petrochemicals terminal etc.
